Resistors: Resistors in mobile phones are chip resistors, which are the most commonly used electronic components in mobile phones. Surface mount glazed resistors are flat, with silver white solder joints at both ends and white bottom.


Surface mount resistor: It is a combination form of mobile phone resistors, which is a composite resistor composed of two or more resistors with the same enamel resistance value. It is mainly used as an interface circuit for digital circuits and is commonly used in Nokia phones and MTK chipset mobile phone battery detection circuits.


Resistance function: Resistance blocks current and reduces it. According to Ohm's law: I=U/R, the larger the resistance of the glaze, the smaller the current.

Resistance series connection: Two resistors are connected end-to-end. In a series resistor circuit, the current passing through each glazed resistor is equal, but the voltage across each resistor is not equal. The total resistance will increase after series connection.


Resistance parallel connection: Two or more resistors are connected in parallel. In a parallel circuit, the voltage across each glazed resistor is the same, but the current flowing through each resistor is different, resulting in a decrease in the total resistance of the parallel resistors.

Mixed resistor: In practical circuits, there are many resistors, some of which are connected first and then connected, while others are connected end-to-end. It should also be understood as parallel and then series. This is called a mixed glazed resistor.


Resistance characteristics: energy dissipation. It can work on both AC and DC, and has three main functions in circuits: current limiting and voltage division;

Resistance damage: In general, when an open circuit occurs, it will disconnect or the resistance value will increase, directly affecting the normal circuit, and at the same time, the contact resistance of the glaze will decrease.


Resistance measurement: When measuring with a multimeter, it should be in the high ohm range, with the range decreasing from large to small.
